1. Scope and who is responsible
Active Neurons Technology LLP ("we", "us" or "our") operates BizCardPro. This policy applies to the BizCardPro website, account and administration areas, public digital cards, NFC-related features, product ordering, and support communications.
A business or professional who publishes a card controls the content on that card and decides how to follow up with people who contact them. For that activity, the card owner or their organisation may be separately responsible for your data. You can contact them about their use of your details and contact us about the operation of the BizCardPro platform.
2. Personal data we collect
Account and profile data
We collect details such as name, email address, phone number, profile image, organisation and role information. We also maintain password hashes, email verification and password-reset records, sign-in timestamps, authentication sessions and security records.
Business, card and catalogue content
Account holders may provide business names, logos, contact information, card designs, social links, business units, services, products, prices, descriptions, images and other material they choose to publish or manage through the service. Public card content is visible to anyone who has its link, QR code or associated NFC card.
Visitor and analytics data
When a public card or link is used, we may record the card viewed, time, IP address, browser or user-agent, device and browser type, referring page, landing page, campaign parameters, link clicks, session or conversion events, and approximate country or city where available. This helps card owners understand engagement and helps us secure and operate the service.
Lead and enquiry data
If you submit an enquiry through a card or related form, the information can include your name, email, phone number, company, job title, message, source, IP address and browser information. We also record when consent was given, the version of the consent notice, and the exact notice shown. The enquiry is made available to the relevant card owner or organisation.
Orders, payments and support
For physical products or other orders, we may process order items, billing and shipping details, tax and invoice information, delivery and tracking details, payment status and identifiers supplied by a payment gateway. We do not store the full card number used with a payment gateway. We also retain messages and details you provide when requesting sales or support assistance.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and similar storage needed for sign-in, session continuity, security, form protection and essential service operation. A public card may store a theme preference in your browser. We do not currently use the service to sell personal data or to place third-party advertising cookies.
3. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- create and secure accounts, verify identity and provide password recovery;
- provide, personalise and publish digital cards and business content;
- connect visitors with the card owner when they choose to make an enquiry;
- measure card engagement and provide reporting to authorised account users;
- process physical product orders, payments, invoices, delivery and support;
- send service, security, renewal and account communications;
- prevent misuse, investigate incidents and maintain audit records;
- improve reliability, accessibility and product performance; and
- meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
4. Basis for processing
Depending on the activity and applicable law, we process personal data with your consent, to provide a service or fulfil a contract you requested, for uses permitted by law in operating and securing the service, and to comply with legal obligations. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing invalid.
6. Processing locations and transfers
Our service providers may process or support data from locations different from yours. Where personal data is transferred or accessed across borders, we take steps to use safeguards required by applicable law, which may include contractual, technical and organisational measures. We do not promise that all processing occurs only in India.
7. How long we retain data
We retain data for as long as the relevant account or service relationship remains active, as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and for reasonable legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention and security periods. Different records therefore have different retention periods.
We may retain limited audit, transaction or consent evidence after other data is removed where the law or a legitimate security need requires it. Deleted data can remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire through their normal rotation.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for a summary of personal data being processed, correction, completion or updating of inaccurate data, erasure, consent withdrawal, grievance handling, or nomination of another person to exercise rights in permitted circumstances.
To make a request, email support@digibizcard.in from the address connected to your account or request. We may need to verify your identity and clarify whether the request concerns BizCardPro or a particular card owner. Some records may be retained where applicable law permits or requires it. You may also use any complaint or appeal route available under applicable law.
9. Security
We use measures designed to protect personal data, including password hashing, access controls, encrypted storage for lead contact fields, transport security, monitoring, audit records and protected backups. No internet service or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
10. Children
BizCardPro is designed for business and professional use. It is not intended for children or for a person who lacks legal capacity to enter the relevant agreement. If you believe a child has provided personal data without valid authorisation, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, our practices or applicable law changes. We will publish the updated policy here and revise the date above. Where appropriate, we may provide an additional account or email notice for a material change.
